Are you in quarantine? Me, too!! I’m not sick, but I do live in California and our governor has issued a ‘shelter in place’ order. Ah, CoronaVirus… what an interesting moment in time.
I find myself back to cooking three meals a day in a way I haven’t done since my girls were little and we were homeschooling. And that got me thinking. Maybe you are, too. Maybe you need a few ideas to feed a hungry family with super nutritious food that everyone loves.
At my restaurant, Rest Farmhouse Inspired, I offered cooking classes in my commercial kitchen. They were a big hit, building community and bringing a love of learning back into the kitchen. I got to thinking. What if I put some short cooking lesson videos together for everyone else out there who is at home?
So here you have it! My first cooking lesson video, right in own my kitchen. I hope you enjoy!
Here are the ingredients you will need.
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 heaping tsp prepared pesto
- 14oz can plum tomatoes
- 4.5oz ball of mozzarella (or dairy-free cheese)
- 4 burger buns (gluten-free if possible)
This recipe easily doubles for a bigger family.
